Pricing incl. local VAT: 295.000 SEK/NOK | 25.200 EUR FIN | 196.900 DKK
The Krämer EVO2-690R incorporates race-ready components from the S model and enhances its performance with an upgraded 80hp KTM 690 LC4 engine, an advanced braking system, top level suspension and forged Dymag wheels.
Frame: At the heart of the Krämer EVO2-690R is a Chromium-Molybdenum steel frame, delivering superior handling and durability. This material surpasses aluminum in performance, exhibiting increased resistance to cracking or breaking under racing stresses. The unique trellis design offers optimal stiffness, flexing where necessary, providing riders with unparalleled feedback.
Tail Section: Crafted from XPE plastic, the EVO2’s tail section supports the rider and accommodates 12 liters of fuel. This multifunctional design reduces weight and contributes to a more compact overall package.
Bodywork: The lightweight fiberglass bodywork on the EVO2-690R incorporates carbon/kevlar reinforcement. By replacing the traditional gas tank with an airbox, the bike’s weight is reduced, enhancing weight distribution and optimizing the center of gravity for track performance.
Suspension: The R model features new WP supersport forks in the front, utilizing a pressurized, closed-chamber design with adjustable preload, compression, and rebound damping. The rear is equipped with a WP shock absorber featuring the KMC Link System and adjustable ride height. Combined with a rigid all-aluminum swing arm, this setup allows for precise tuning and predictability in adjusting the Krämer EVO2-690R.
Brakes: The R model is equipped with twin 290mm rotors and twin Brembo calipers. Rear brakes for both EVO2 models feature a 220mm Motomaster rotor and Formula caliper.
Engine: The KTM LC4 engine undergoes significant improvements, including a reworked cylinder head, an ultra-light and robust piston and connection rod, and a rerouted air intake through a resonator chamber. The power band is widened by a thousand rpm, delivering a more uniform power delivery, especially in the mid to high rev range. Twin ignition with plug-selective mapping, solid yet lightweight internals, and optimized intake and exhaust systems are complemented by an advanced ride-by-wire system, ensuring refinement and improved fuel consumption.
Cylinder Head: Inside the cylinder head, exhaust valves are actuated by roller rockers, while the camshaft powers the intake valves, allowing precise control of valve timings for increased peak power over a broader rev range.
Second Balancer Shaft: The LC4 engine incorporates a supplementary balancer shaft, effectively minimizing vibrations typically associated with large thumpers.
The Krämer EVO2-690R is a race motorcycle designed only for competition-use. It cannot be used on public roads or highways, nor can it be registered to be street-legal.
