2024 KRÄMER EVO-690S
Pricing: 195.000 SEK/NOK | 16.800 EUR | 129.900 DKK
The Krämer EVO2-690S is equipped with a comprehensive set of features, ensuring its competitiveness on the racing track. The S model boasts an 80hp KTM 690cc LC4 engine, a race-focused chassis, adjustable suspension, selectable engine mapping, and advanced braking systems.
Frame: At the heart of the Krämer EVO2-690S is a chromium-molybdenum steel frame, delivering exceptional handling and durability. This superior material surpasses aluminum in performance and is notably resilient to cracking or breaking under the rigors of racing. The unique trellis design offers optimal stiffness, flexing where necessary, providing the rider with unparalleled feedback.
Tail Section: The Evo2’s tail section, constructed from XPE plastic, supports the rider and accommodates a 3.17-gallon fuel capacity. This multifunctional design reduces weight and contributes to a more compact package.
Body Work: The EVO2-690S features lightweight fiberglass bodywork without compromising durability. Mounting points and high-stress areas are reinforced with carbon Kevlar. By replacing the traditional gas tank with an airbox, the bike’s overall weight is reduced, optimizing the center of gravity for track performance.
Suspension: The front suspension incorporates 43mm WP forks with adjustable compression and rebound damping, while the rear features a WP shock absorber with KMC link system and adjustable ride height. Combined with a rigid all-aluminum swing arm, this setup provides a tunable and predictable configuration for fine-tuning your Krämer EVO2-690S.
Brakes: Both the S and R models are equipped with Brembo front brakes. The EVO2-690S features a single 320mm rotor and single Brembo caliper at the front, along with a 220mm Motomaster rotor and Formula caliper at the rear.
Engine: The KTM LC4 690 engine, sourced from Austria, incorporates a high-flow cylinder head, ultralight piston, and high-strength connecting rod. The engine is fed through a high-flow intake system designed by Krämer Motorcycles. This results in a power band that is a thousand rpm wider compared to a standard LC4 motor, offering a more uniform power delivery, especially in the mid to high rev range.
Balance Shaft: The 2023 Krämer EVO2-690S utilizes the latest LC4 engine generation, featuring a bonus balancer shaft that effectively reduces the vibrations typically associated with large thumpers.
The Krämer GP2-890R is a race motorcycle designed only for competition-use. It cannot be used on public roads or highways, nor can it be registered to be street-legal.
